"i bought these (in yellow) and spun them with the twisted oval chain. not bad. i hit myself (at full speed a few times) and still managed not to touch the ground. lol. i've hit myself everywhere with them expecially when learning the 3 beat weave. if they were any harder i would have quit learning poi and gone to staff right then and there. it has to happen to you for you to understand what i'm saying. i'm just sad that the fluffy fur likes to fall out rather fast. my balls aren't as fluffy anymore but i still spin with them in the daylight."

"As a beginner with poi I expected to have the ball ends bounce of me somewhere while learning to twirl. I'm glad I am learning with the Fluffy Poi heads. Aside from the light taps on my arms and sides I was trying to learn the over/around the head spin when Ouch bounced them off my face. I was greatfull that these heads were suggested for beginners. But do yourself a favor attatch them to chains if you spin fire with chains because you will get a varied effect that is more similar cabled fire poi with the nylon string."
