11th April, 2018 My favourites! "The sand balls are well weighed and hit in a gentle manner. As a beginner, I absolutely favour these!" Kendra Taktak, Germany. [Verified Buyer] SILVER Member since Mar 2018
21st February, 2018 Good for juggling or sock poi "These are strong and of good weight. Perfect for sock poi" Gianvito Dalessandro, Australia. [Verified Buyer] SILVER Member since Apr 2016
1st January, 2018 Just Right "I got these sand poi to put in my stretchy sock poi. Perfect size and weight. They are not 'soft' like spongy cause they are filled with sand. Fit great in the sock poi and are made to a good level of quality. Great for beginners or advanced." Collette D, Australia. [Verified Buyer] SILVER Member since Apr 2012
16th November, 2017 Good heft "The leather sack balls are made out of two stitched pieces. They are filled just enough sand to keep their round shape but not be that hard. Am enjoying them for practice juggling and poi sock filler." Laura Salazar, USA. [Verified Buyer] GOLD Member since Feb 2012
4th October, 2017 A Bit Heavy...for my taste "I purchased a set of these out to test out what makes a good set of practice poi. Personally, I've worked with several types of poi: led, flag, streamer, fire, etc. and various materials (tennis ball, rice sewn into a bag, etc) and these are not what I would call 'beginner friendly'. If they hit you in the face or 'tenders' they will hurt! These are heavier than a tennis ball and if you are looking for something to make learning orbitals easier, the sand poi weights do well. If, however, you're looking for something forgiving, I think there are better options out there. I wish HoP made a softer silicone ball weight for the beginner. (Are you listening out there, Hop?) Otherwise - well made and works well with the sock poi!" Colleen Holt, USA. [Verified Buyer] GOLD Member since Sep 2007
25th September, 2017 Great quality for the price "I ordered these to make sock poi out of cotton fabric because I hate the stretchy fabric of pre-made sock poi. The size and weight is nice, they're the size of juggling beanbags but heavier. Perfect weight for sock poi, in my opinion." Danielle Erdberg, USA. [Verified Buyer] SILVER Member since Mar 2017
18th July, 2017 Perfect weight "These balls are the perfect weight for me." David Reardon, USA. [Verified Buyer] GOLD Member since Jul 2014
7th November, 2016 Nice...wish there were colors! "White is good for juggling, but it'd be nice to have some other colors as well." Dianne Patterson, USA. [Verified Buyer] SILVER Member since Aug 2015
19th September, 2016 Great "I prefer this over making my own, but the tennis balls are better... they hurt less." Jamillie Carlson, USA. [Verified Buyer] SILVER Member since Apr 2011
29th July, 2016 Great weight for practice "These are great in my sock poi for practice!" Sierra Woodling, USA. [Verified Buyer] SILVER Member since Jun 2015
4th August, 2015 hacky sack /sock poi filler "I can so multi task with this I can use it for individual use and put them in my sock poi ir I can use it as a group thing and jam a game of hacky so fun thanks again home of poi" Stephanie F., New Zealand. [Verified Buyer] GOLD Member since Mar 2015
28th July, 2015 perfect weight "just the right weight for me to use with my new sock poi, and they don't hurt when I whack myself with them. Great for beginners who want more weight than a home made ball of newspaper." Sideshowpt, USA. [Verified Buyer] BRONZE Member since Jul 2015
25th April, 2015 nice weight "seem good to add that little bit of extra weight to the poi." Jessica Ahner, USA. [Verified Buyer] SILVER Member since Jan 2015
18th May, 2014 Balls "Bought two of these for my sock poi and they are great. Perfect for practice not to painfull." Mike Kugel, USA. [Verified Buyer] SILVER Member since Sep 2013
20th July, 2013 these weights provide good control "The sand poi have a leather covering and absorb the shock of hits and bumps better than the tennis balls that hop sells. My only concern is if they get wet will they be ruined. I put each one on a scale and they were appoximate in weight but not different enough to tell while using. These are probably the best alternative for sock poi considering their size as I don't clip myself while duing melt downs. These balls swing and feel great for controled moves and patterns. Buy these and you will be glad you did." Neil Carter Jr., USA. [Verified Buyer] SILVER Member since Aug 2011
20th April, 2013 Great for smaller hands. "I got these specifically for their light weight and small size for higher number juggling. I'm a bit smaller than the average person and this helped out a lot. The sand weight is just about perfect the sand weight won't let them roll away and the white makes them super easy to see." Hobbes Flow, USA. [Verified Buyer] DIAMOND Member since Jan 2011
7th December, 2012 Perfect "Perfect as well balanced soft durable weights in poi or for juggling" Jason Paino, Australia. [Verified Buyer] SILVER Member since Sep 2009
3rd August, 2012 great! "They are fantastic balls! they are just the right weight not too heavy and not to light great!! I just love them and they didn't take long to come! and they came with cards and sticker Thanks a lot!!!" Harry Fiotakis, Australia. [Verified Buyer] BRONZE Member since Jul 2012
