MONKEY FISTS!!!
"I am completely satisfied with the monkey fists. Going from glowsticks to the poi is a dramatic change and i am still building up the shoulder muscle and endourance it takes with the poi. The monkey fists were bigger than i had expected a little bit bigger than a baseball i believe. still kick ass and i cant wait to lite them..."

My favourite staff
"I have bought two of these staves and believe that they are awesome. The first staff arrived ahead of schedule and worked beautifully. The second had a problem with the screws but Chris helped by sending some new materials to repair it and it works beautifully as well. The customer service on HoP is remarkable. Now the staff itself is balanced Perfectly and the feel of the staff is great."

"Beautifully made top quality poi :o) They are heavier then the norm but once you get used to them the weight makes them really easy to spin - especially with pauses and direction changes!!! Great service - ordered them on thurs arvo and they arived the next morning in time for the weekend!!! and the best part is they soak up the kero and burn for ages"

These are just SICK!!!
"Okay first the gripes: They're impossible to get all the fuel off before lighting them (I spun off like CRAZY) so make sure you have enough room for firey drops of fuel to go flying off for the first 2-3 minutes. Overall these things are INSANE!!! Huge circles and a weight and glow that commands awe from the watchers. It was like rediscovering poi all over again. When spinning the lit wicks look like they're the size of bowling balls."

"I spun these poor cathedrals until the bottom fold of kevlar started shriveling up and turning white. Their burn time for me is always around 2.5 minutes with kero. The chains are still going strong on a new set of monkey fist knot heads! There's nothing like oval-link chain's strength and aggreability for wrapping around the hands."

However they do hurt a bit more if you hit yourself with them and lets face it we all do but they are also very durable (you'll break your head before you break your poi). amazing comet effect and the chains are astounding quality and easily adjusted. "These are only my second set of poi since I starting to spin so I may be over-stretching myself but they are absolutely fantastic! The extra weight's letting me do some nice slower spins (and teaching me to be a little more cautious - watch that crotch :S) and they even look pretty cool unlit - not yet had a legit' chance to fire 'em up. The only down side(?) - they're so much fun I keep giving myself blisters!!!"
