Good for indoor/outdoor practice
"The tails were detachable which was great when i wanted to practice indoors. Also i'm Still learning, so the tails get tangled a lot. removing them at the onset helped in learning new moves."

"The only reason this is not a 5 star rating is because it had no provision for finger loops. You have to twirl it around your fingers or create a knot. Still Figuring out the best way to use this but its my preferred poi for indoor practice and learning new moves because it's softer and doesnt hurt as much when u get smacked in the head."

juggled with tennis balls for years...and got really good..
"...and I wanted the same size. after comparing many (5-8) juggling sites and poring over reviews and pricing (I am chronically broke) I got the Sil-x. the weight and squish was a little more than I expected it to feel, but 3 weeks into owning them and I have advanced to having crazy skills and can hardly put them down. Stalls are now a creative flourish rather than a drill that i can never master, and contact and toss-juggling both are easier and look great. I get ooh's and ah's everywhere. I got red (think clown nose red) and 4 yellow, which nearly glow in low light. I walk a lot, and have dropped these in sand, asphalt, and mud. I even got some sort of tar on one of them. cleaned with soap and water, they look unblemished and new. Getting them a little dirty can even be an asset, the appearance simply dulled the bright neon yellow nearly imperceptibly, and the ball got a little more tacky (sticky), which modified my control. Drops only roll away on hills. Would buy again."

Perfectly Length + Weight!
"I used to have a set of poi like these once.. I had to make several adjustments to them to make them spin the way I wanted.. I fell in love with them .. Then they got thrown away mistakenly when I moved... --- When I found that home of poi offered a similar set .. I instantly bought them thinking I would have to make similar adjustments to get them to spin right ... BUT these from home of poi were weighted PERFECTLY and the length was just right as well! I didnt have to make them heavier or cut some material off .. They are actually perfect for spinning right out of the bag. Each poi has a solid weight and the material is very light , vibrant in color , and not too long.. meaning you can do stalls and buzz-saws with relative ease. The material is securely sewn onto the weighted poi head making it easy to grab on to the tails and spin them in mid performance without worrying about it ripping out. And the price is way more than fair!"
