Way easier than making your own.
"With Fire whips you go through a cracker a burn, and you lose the fall after 4-6 burns, so you need to always have back ups ready to go. These are consistent, inexpensive, and good quality."

"I am a poi virgin and knew nothing about what i needed to get started. I knew what i wanted but wasn't sure it was entirely suitable. I wrote a question to the helpdesk and received an answer in less than 24 hours - result! I ordered my product and it arrived within 10 days (from NZ to central Europe - that's v good). So I have been practising for 2 weeks longer than I expected to, because it arrived so much sooner than I expected. "These are an excellent - and aesthetically pleasing - beginner set of flower sticks. I had admittedly hoped for a slightly longer and heavier set of sticks but I would still highly recommend these to anyone looking for a nice starter set. What may be lost in weight and length is gained in responsiveness - i.e., lighter sticks allow for faster more rapid rotation which may suit more tech-minded spinners. Definitely a great prop for those newly entering the world of flow arts and prop manipulation."

"The only issue I have is that I didn't realize how difficult these would be to hold onto! Slippery stretchy fabric has me sending these across the room fairly often. A little daunting for a beginner, so my next set will have a better grip. Otherwise lovely product!"
