An isolation changes the center of rotation from your hand to a point along the body of the poi.
Tips/Hints: Spin the poi slowly and rotate your hand as fast or faster than the poi head

Out of all the poi moves I've seen, the isolations are my favorite! I can't wait to finally be able to do isolations. I'm slowly getting the hang of it.

Not going to lie...these are my achilles heel for spinning as of now....they absolutely dumbfound me for how they work, thanks for the vid, now off to try some more!

i finally decided to focus on isos today and yesterday i decided i was only gunna spin glowsticks until i get my flowtoys next month. and ive lost my sockpoi. hopefully it will prove to be benificial
