the only thing im not sure of, are the Poi switching which one is isolated and which is extended?

Almost 2 years later exactly and I'm wondering the exact same thing after watching this video. :P

Yes. The hand in relation to its same side extends and the hand on the opposite side isolates.the extension in addition to the opposing hand following (locking onto the extending hand) creates the isolated movement. The hands switch which is iso and which extends.
