"Not only are they beautiful they are functional as well! they hold your flowlinghts in place and cap the ends. The added weight is a nice touch and the pegs that click into the tubes are sturdy and firm. Holds while spinning but easily twists loose to turn on and off the lights. Again simple and effective."

Must Have for Duos
"This is a very important part to get with your tubes for duos. They clip into your flowlights and alost click into the tubes. They looked like they might slide off of the tube while spinning but hasnt happened at all. Simple and effective."

Missing it dearly
"Recently my house was broken into and I got robbed clean. Among the many things stolen were my collection of Poi Dvds. Most of the items taken i didnt care too much about. the one thing that hurt me was seeing my special dvd collection wiped out. I know they grabbed em cause it was next to the video games (tv surround sound ps3 xbox wii and like 50 games 200 movies and a crap load more stuff was lifted out of my own house...) I know these dvds were discarded almost immediately by the theives. (I found tossed discs down the road the next day tossed out of a car but none were saveable. But this DVD was the most valuable tool ive ever had when it came to poi. Instead of teaching tricks and tech it teaches how to flow open up dance and evolve. This is a MUST OWN dvd for any poi spinner serious taking their flow to the next level. As i said before i miss it dearly. i would give this DVD 6 outta 5 stars. Thats right . . a 6."

Save your Fire Heads for Fire.
"If you spin monkey fists for fire poi than these are your new best friend. Same weight same feel but Pretty eye catching and durable. Save money and prolong your fire heads life span but using these bad boys anytime your not spinning fire. VERY solid construction. Zero forgiveness during impact (not necessarily a bad thing!) so be careful trying new tricks. I got the blue ones and everyone asks me the same question. Did you make those? to which i smile and reply Nope Home of Poi sell them and I think you should buy some too! So even though you didn't ask me if i made them ill go ahead and tell you Get Them. you will be loving them for many many years to come."

Upgraded and better than ever
"The loss of the quick links up top was a welcome sight for me. The less hardware around my fingers the better. The fabric is SO soft and i feel i have better control than previous types that were built- Handle Quick link Swivel chain. Now there is no fuss and all comfort. When making your own custom poi these are usually the first thing on my order list. The bearings are smoother than butter and hold up to lots of abuse. Hyperloop heaven! Orbital Bliss! slam some swivels on the bottoms of the chains as well for serious action."

"These are the 2nd most important component when it comes to making your own poi. Second of course only the the swivels (No. 10 ball bearing). These allow fast and easy exchange of handles or heads. Best to carry in your toy bag a small set of pliers to tighten secure before spinning to ensure a fire head doesn't go sailing into the crowd (bad news..) And to use em to loosen them if you need to swap out to LED's or practice heads. If you hand torque it your risking possible catastrophe of it coming unscrewed in mid spin. Other than that these are easily the best of the best available. Just don't forget your pliers. :)"

Lights in the Sky (Water 1)
"The double mass weight additions was perfect! The lights are so brilliant and entrancing. Simple AAA batteries are always available though Rechargeable would be best. One thing I didn't like was that the quick links are too thin to sit right after being attached to the crystal cases so I took them off and added my own properly sized jump rings (I'm a chain maille artisan) to replace them now they are sleek slim and straight. I also replaced the handles with the Pro handles single loop with swivels attached. After shortening them up quite a bit I now have a contender for my favorite set of poi in my arsenal! Huge flowers and circles painted against onyx backdrops are sure to drop jaws and melt faces. Do yourself a favor and get 2 sets as once your friends see them they wont want to give em back once they fall into their hands. LOVE to HoP! Shipping was lightning fast as usual. 9 days from order date to my home in South West USA! Weekends included!"

"i was a little worried that they might be too light and that would make it rather difficult to start spinning poi with. My wife is just starting and i have great faith in HOP. so i bought some Pink ones and man are the PINK! i picked the up took em out of the bag to hand to my wife and i just couldnt do it! I HAD TO SPIN THEM! and boy when i did i didnt stop for an HOUR! LOL it was great! just enough wind resistance to keep it from going super sonic and just enough weight to perfectly balance these delicious set of poi. Great for beginner or pro alike! a fine addition to ANYONE'S arsonel! WAY TO GO HOP!!! as always im super impressed!!!!"

"These sweet mamas are brilliantly colored unbeleivbly soft and feels like silk. The have a nice stretch to them so the do lengthen a bit the faster you spin them. Not a terribly fast set of poi but more slow and graceful. PERFECT for wraps tangles and isolations. Want to look good for your friends? grab up a set or two (for a friend or one as backup just in case) wrap em around your hands and start twirlin. youll be amazed at how good you can look! Easily cleaned and the best part is the ability to swap balls out in 2 seconds. So if your like me and wish to one day spin fire but know the weight is gonna be heavier than a tennis ball and would like to spin a slightly heavier set to slowly condition yourself to the heavier monkey fists These are the perfect transitionary tool. I have some stress balls the nice little squishy kind but firm gel and ill tell you they are AWESOME!!! more momentum with less OW MY FACE! All in all an abolutly marvelous item."

Be ready for a mind meltdown (pun intended)
"At the beginnig of this dvd it gives a warning to try NOT to watch it all in one setting or else you brain will melt from too much Poi-info and over load. ITS TRUE! i made it 80 through and i could barley think anymore. Do yourself a favor and heed its warning. Take it easy and chip though it little by little. THERE IS SOOO MUCH INFO ON THE DVD! it will keep you busy for months and months. Zan and his crew are inspiring and such a pleasure to watch. I fully agree with the NOW philosophy. But keep in mind that this is an Intermediate to advanced workshop. Butterfly's (forward and reverse) and weaves (3 4 and 5 beat) should be well know before attempting these as the beginner stuff is not even mentioned. But once your ready for that next step in your game Look no Further. This is the answer to all your poi spinning needs! :D"

"nice soft glow that is VERY noticible at night. Super smooth transition ensure there are no breaks in the light (unlike what Brand-X companys have) and perfect weight. soft surface is fairly forgiving (unsless you are unfortunate enough to get hit by the hard plastic screw in part *ouch* But the caption is right. the picture does them absolutly NO justice. Youll probly want to pick up 2 sets. so you don't have to spot spinning every time your friends see you play. :) im getten some solid blue ones soon. . ."

While a more graceful approach is needed for these they can pick up ALOT of speed! they are simply beautiful. while the heavyest set in my arsnel after spinning my fists It makes my others feel like there gonna float away! Top Notch Construction solid build. Careful though they do hurt so id say not quite a beginner set for that reason alone. haven't lit em up yet (just got em so I'm gettin a feel for these bad boys.)
