Great weight for doing impressive stalls!
"Forgot to mention before these poi have a clear advantage over lighter poi for doing stalls and to really feel control over your poi! If you know one to two simple moves and want to do them super fast and not bother learning anything more go for a lighter set of poi that you can spin super fast easy. For progressing to learn a more interesting and varied set of moves these are lovely poi to work with! Because the spin slightly slower than lighter poi they give your mind more time to think about how to move your body next or what to do next! Gorgeous poi that will last you a long time!"

Impossible to hurt yourself if you try!
"These poi be handed out in a prison for violent offenders and short or strangulation these cant possibly hurt you ;-) Great for spinning in a crowded place light a night club dance floor (if they have UV lights) as you cant give anyone a black eye even if they walk straight into the poi. Not so great for outdoors on a kind of windy day or and I do hate the cords that can get tangled up and not come undone without pulling and picking at knot of cord that can easily develop. Great kids toy - or for drunk learners who are definitely going to hit themselves on the head!"

Great for beginners!
"I bought my Japanese ex-girlfriend a set of these and she manages them like she a chiwawa on a dog lead - no bother at all! Go for the leather handles - without question better! The heads are not the smallest but should be manageable for most people easy enough. Quality made product!"

NICE STAFF!!
"Long heavy strong staff - but very easy to transport - complimented perfectly by the sectional staff bag (fits neatly down outside of a backpack to hump around on your travels)! Perhaps better for contact moves than frantic spinning/throws due to its weight! Put socks over the heads when practicing to protect the heads or they will fray after falling on concrete a lot! Overall - very good quality product!"

Almost ESSENTIAL for anyone who dreams of becoming great!!
"A great video that goes way past the basic video tutorials for various moves on the interent. He takes a different (and advisable) approach to poi. He show how you can gain total control and total freedom to move with poi (and how to keep in time to music)! He is a true inspiration and seems a very nice and modest guy as well! This will not teach you how to 3 beat or even 5/7 beat but will teach you excellant drills to practice that will lead to you doing a variety of flowers etc and lead to you inventing new moves! I've watched it 6 times already!"
