A year ago today I started fire spinning.

I'd like to thank everybody I have ever seen spin in person or on video. You have all inspired me in one way or another!

Thanks!

Why do people always have to bring competition into everything. It sucks, I always here people saying oh so and so is better. The fact is that nobody is better! I mean sure people can do more moves but that doesnt mean they are "better" I've seen spinners that have very limited moves but the way they move is amazing and its far more enjoyable to watch.

That was out of place...

Anyhoo, glad to hear about your anniversary Raph! I hit mine not too long ago and it's really good to look back and see how you've changed since the start.

Remember one thing too... as you have been learning from others, so too have others from you. Even the newest spinner has something to contribute to us old geezers

Congrats!

I never mentioned anything about competition, nor did I single out the spinners that I feel are truly the "best" that I have seen.

I was thanking ALL the spinners I have seen!

Sorry if you got the wrong impression.

Hey you've seen me spin and you said all spinners so that means you're thanking me too *feels a warm fuzzy glow*

and....wait a minute, Stone Cold why are you spoiling my warm fuzzy glow? I'm a fairly rubbish spinner and I don't get any praise ever and your strop (that's very possibly in the wrong thread) is ruining it for me.

Thanks!

I NEED many more years of growth!

If I really put my mind to it, I should be ready to submit a video by COL 16

Raph, I got on CoL4 after only a year... not saying I'm better than you or anything but definitely would like you to think about that and not sell yourself short

I expect to see you on 5, maybe 6 at the absolute latest (and only because you miss the deadline even though your submission ROCKS!)

I appreciate that, Dio! I don't work at improving at poi as much as I would like to since most of my time is spent training in fencing.

But, perhaps I'll make it onto one of the COL vids in the future.

That would be cool!
