i find it really surprising that discos etc were allowed to build so close to somewhere that turtles go to lay their eggs, especially a rare turtle breed. i wonder if the amount of noise these places create will be mentioned? the government here in Oman are strict on those things,to be able to get on the beach with the turtles you need a pass (so they can monitor the amounts of people visiting) campsites are set back from the beach behind sand dunes, no torches are allowed on the beach, noise is kept to minimum ,the list goes on. im amazed they need a summit to dicuss these enviromental things surley its all common sence!
