titanium powder (ive heard some people use similar metals, but titanium is the main one to appear when searching google)

its a similar but much safer version of steel wool poi (not sure how it compares to charcoal poi), to use it you soak your props as normal and before lighting you roll them a little in the powder. ive heard a few people suggest theres some issues with prop damage and dangerous fumes being given off though so make sure to read up on it before trying yourself
