Hello to all the community! I just got a pair of tailed poi and I'm very excited about it blush

I am an absolute beginner-till now, I can only swing same time and split time.. my question is, does tailed poi limit the number of the moves one can perform? I have not find sufficient info on that (I live on a tiny, remote place right now so internet is my only source) and from my experience and practise I think that is rather more difficult to do more complex moves with that..

Please, any help will be greatly appreciated!

Peace, Irini

Yes, tailed poi do limit what you can do, though they look great for performances.

Most people use sock/ cone poi these days smile

Thank you so much for your help!

Actually, I am more interrested in performing as I am into dancing and want to enhance the concept :) So tailed poi is for me now. I have learned several moves so far, but my aim now is to work on my flow as they look nice separately but kind of..robotic while dancing.

Greets from Greece.
