Posted:Newbie Alert...? I was just sewing my wicks onto my new Elder Flame fire fans and broke my needle in half. What do I do? Can I use a larger sewing needle? Sorry- seems like a dumb question. Thanks for any help!
Posted:Hey Lisa, sorry to hear that :-( but yup no problem at all as you can use any sewing needle with a suitable sized eye where the Kevlar thread passes through etc We use a curved needle here at HOP as it normally makes it a tad easier but a straight needle can be used also if thats all you have...... Normally local craft shops etc will sell the curved variety if needed.
