Is it possible to incorporate poi moves into fan spinning?

Yeah, stuff like flowers, reels, weaves, and most, if not all of the tosses should work with fans too. Might depend a bit on the finger/hand holes on your fan though. That's all the stuff of the top of my head, and I've managed to make most of the admittedly broad range of things work on the few occasions that I've played around with fans. Probably the easiest way of finding out, if you already do poi, is to just try to emulate a move with fans. Imagine that the middle wick is the poi head, I guess, and just go for it.

There are a bunch of poi things/variations that aren't doable with fans though, I think mostly just where you'd have to bend your wrist in an anatomically impossible way. Just pay attention to what your wrists are doing so that you don't accidentally try to break them and you should be fine. smile
