Posted: first you should put your poi down and learn all the modes with your arms, same time same direction, same time opposite direction, split time same direction, split time oppositie direction, all forward and backward ...and look up nick woolsey im pretty sure 90% of people started by watching him...sadly I wasnt so lucky.

Posted: Enjoy the learning process a lot of my students find it frustration they aren't developing quickly. I always tell them that if you enjoy and embrace not being good a what you are at poi then you don't need to focus on the end goal because you are having fun in the process.
