I just decided tonight as I was spinning that I think I will plan to do my first burn on Samhain, October 31st, 2013. I have been spinning poi for about a year and I have been thinking about bumping it up a notch to fire. I am going to order some fire poi tonight and start practicing with the intent of doing my first burn in October.
Spinning fire poi is on my "bucket list" and it means a lot to me to accomplish this. I don't plan on doing anything complicate or impressive and it will be just me and my safety person. I just plan to flow with the fire and go where it takes me.
