theres no board for unique countries/regions but adding a topic in the meet others subforum is what most people do

also a lot of people have setup facebook groups for specific locations, if you cant find one for your region then either start one up or join a couple of poi pages such as poi chat (see link below) and groups/pages associated with poi and your location will usually come up
