Poi for two at the big luau
Poi for two, me and you
Come let us make welakahao
At the big Hawaiian luau

One finger poi
Two finger poi
Eat that ono laulau now
And you'll love Hawaiian kaukau

Come alone let's go
Ev'ry one you know
Ev'rybody will be there
We can dance all night in the bright moonlight

Is it the Truth?
Is it Fair to all concerned?
Will it build Goodwill and Better Friendships?
Will it be Beneficial to all concerned?

Im in a lonely battle with the world with a fish to match the chip on my shoulder. Gnu in Binnu in a cnu

Traditional Maori song for spinning poi to.

Rere = flying
ki runga = up high
ki raro = down low
ki roto = inwards (spin in front of you)
ki waho = outwards (spin behind you)

E rere taku poi
E rere taku poi, ki runga
E rere taku poi
E rere taku poi, ki raro
E rere runga
E rere raro
E rere roto
E rere waho
E rere taku poi
E rere taku poi, ki runga

Here's a youtube link with the tune. They say "ki ruka" in this song, as it is said/written in the South Island, (Kai Tahu/Ngai Tahu dialect)
