Has anyone ever thought of making a "poiers" music album? A collection of music that's GREAT to poi to? What music would you put on it?

My favourite music..

I'll start it off with 'Bony Incus (the man with no name mix)', by Eat Static. What music would other people put on it?

Happy (rythmical) Swinging,

Tim

Posted:it depends. my current favorites are nick drake, bachman turner overdrive and pet shop boys. offers a nice dynamic mix for spinning.

when i start juggling, though, i get nerdy and start doing my language lessons.

Posted:how has no one mentioned bands like the ethnic sounds like beats antique, budos band, and balkan beat box. these three are my go to spin tunes.

or for electronic gramatik (the street bangers volumes, not the dubstep albums, those suck), emancipator, conspirator, lotus, ratatat, etc.
also, dude at the top had it right with bluegrass (or newgrass) if you're in the right mood: yonder mountain, railroad earth, leftover salmon, etc, plus all the classics.s

Posted:LOL that song is hilarious Midkiff.

Here are a few I I like to spin to by Regina Spector. (In case you are curious, the spinning style i use with these songs is a slower tech-flow style).

Posted:... Wow. Um, ok... I have no videos for you but a few bands.
Group1Crew
Press Play
Manic Drive
Capital Kings
the occasional song from Skillet
Owl City

😊
basically songs that can conform to my mood at any given time, aren't too slow, and are fun. Anything I can get lost in. The occasional random techno song....
thank you for reading my monologue and you have to pm me if you like any of these!!!

Posted:Vivaldi - Four Seasons, works if you're good with poi. I'm not, it's still a lot fun. I think it works very good for performances.
Also I like goth/rock, "ASP" has some nice slow songs which work great.
The Doors kick ass with any toy though.
