The fire snakes were made by myself, just ordered some short leashes, 40 feet of kevlar rope, and some metal rings and wove them. They are shorter than typical snakes to make internal moves possible, the only negative i saw to snakes was the length limits movement so i made mine short enough to prevent that. Ever seen a buzzsaw with fire snakes?

I have never used a better feeling pair of any type of poi in my life grin The only thing is I didn't like the handles, so I put on pro series single loop handles from good ol' HoP. Their chain is so light it feel like plastic o0

The only luck is bad luck.

I use double loop over single loop (I own both pro series from HoP) But I do not hold them like they are intended. I have found a comfortable and versatile grip with them. I put one loop on my ring finger with the other look facing away from my hand. Then I bring it to the inside of my hand. I find the thickness of double loop more satisfying then single.

As for new toys, I am not getting anything new so much as I am upgrading to either knob handles from HoP or golf ball handles soon, and a new pair of double loop pro handles with new shiny swivels.

Posted:I have the HoP ball handles if that's what you mean, I put swivels from FireMecca into the eyebolt and they're great. I use them for my small fire poi. It's one sleek set I must say smile But I like the chain that comes with the Isis heads better, it's just insanely light and better for orbitals as well as black.

The only luck is bad luck.

I have added and downsized finding what works for me so here is the list...

2.5in Monkey Fist Poi
4in Moonblaze Poi
2in Moonblaze Torch Poi (I customized them, extended w/ DL handles)
4'11" Fire Staff
2X of the following flowlight colors: Love, Spirit, Air, Earth, Watermelon (use them with crystal cases and double flowmass)
Flowpoi Trio casings
Tapered Devilstick
Flower Devilstick
Foxy Socks (interchange tennis ball with LEDs)
2 sets of twistlink chains (one from Fire Mecca and one I made with parts from them and HoP)/1 set of ball chain
1 small Diabolo

Vital accessories: Kevlar hat & sleeves, Nomex heavy flight gloves for my torch poi from Trick Concepts (perform great, talk about freedom during catches and hybrids... wish I had video of that first burn but maybe someone got pics from my group!), and carry bags for poi and torch poi that are padded and waterproof.

I think I'm going to be good for a bit!!! grin

I'm probably missing some stuff but the point is I have too much, I can't possibly learn them all!

Posted:+4 inner tube poi. One that matches the previous pair I mentioned, three with counterweighted handles (made with HoP's yellow rope--had extra, needed to use it somehow). The counterweights are about 75g each to keep up with the heads, making them kinda awkward (1.5" wide), but I think they're still manageable.

Next stop: Sol flowlights.
