Thanks!

Haven't seen you on these boards for aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages.

I notice you're in Italy, so I don't really know - but there are loads of internet sites, most selling the same products.

The practice ones I've seen range from soft plastic handles held together with thick black string, up to quite nice looking, chunky things covered in styro-foamy-type-rubber-stuff (TM).

There are LED ones around somewhere, and fire ones - on top off all the regular "real" ones - telescopic, wooden, metal, etched, sketched, painted etc.

I don't think with retrospect, this was a very helpful post - sorry...

their equipment is usually of a pretty high standard and they even have the silly stuff like extendable nunchaku and flashing glow nunchacku

enjoy; but mind your face

I'm not too worried about my face. The muscle memory from poi can be pretty much transferred over to nunchucks, just gotta learn some new moves I played around with my roommates old ones and picked up on it super fast.

Thanks for the links!

Nunchaku can be ordered thru many catalogs, online stores, from dojos, or even thru adds in martial arts magazines. I suggest going to a dojo to learn which you like to start with.

As far as size, don't worry, they don't come in too many sizes, just many styles. I just wouldn't go with mini's if you're going for pretty or artistic, most of the motion with those is with your hands and arms(tiny arcs)

too slow this post was... yes...

Posted:Haha funny, you should mention nunchaku's. A friend of mine while really drunk about a week ago (well he was!) gave me his brothers old set. I watched a couple of videos and noticed after starting to get the feel for them rather quickly, that they are very much like poi... In fact learning tosses with the nunchakus has translated back into tosses with my poi now. Odd how that works out...

Now I'm just lookin into finding dual fire ones... or makin em!
