One High Power 3W RGB LED runs these amazing led poi balls inside each one of the 4" 'matrix' balls. One glowball is set to display (red or green) - by switching the slide switch and the other is set to display (blue or red), similarly. They are set up this way in order to yield (red-red, red-blue, red-green, or blue-green) - user's choice of those combinations. Since red is such a strong color, it must be isolated, but with a flick of the switch all other combinations can be obtained. Each IlluminATRIX has its own USB-plug attached to its own 1000mA rechargeable Lithium Cell Batteries for maximum re-usability, time and time again. These IlluminATRIX are built with the highest durability and can withstand just about any poi party-foul slam into the wall, body, or other hard objects. They can literally be -slammed- full speed swing into a wall and not even get phased. The battery in each IlluminATRIX will last for 3-5 hours of constant use - which is what they do, constantly stay on and not turn off when they hit something ( the balls are soft LDPE plastic so they don't hurt either - yet provide maximum durability ). The ON/OFF switch is included along with each IlluminATRIX which will make it turn a different color and there is another switch included with each IlluminATRIX to simply turn on the power, or save power for that matter. One single USB charger dock which plugs into any standard USA home wall socket will charge both IlluminATRIX's. An open USB slot on your computer will charge the battery, likewise. You will know when they need to be recharged because the RGB LEDS blink when the battery indicator is low ( it is very obvious ). Attached to each IlluminATRIX are heavy duty, thick, soft nylon materials which can latch on or latch off the IlluminATRIX's poi balls. This makes for less friction on the hands and they are very easy on the fingertips - super comfortable.
These are very, VERY bright. The light output for each IlluminATRIX led poi ball is 50 Lumens! Other LED stores sell their high end LED poi with an mcd rated light output brightness, which is not anywhere near Lumen rated brightness! These are way,WAY brighter than the measurements of mcd, the batteries last longer, a USB plug is included with each IlluminSTICK for recharging the batteries very easily and portably ( literally 500-1000 recharges available @ 3-5 hours per charge ), and overall appearance includes super soft, white polyester fabric - which nice to feel on the hands while swinging poi. Since the poi balls have many open holes in them, they provide for a spectacular light matrix led poi show.
