Hi all Australian spinners
I currently live in Bristol, England. I’m part of a large fire circus and other spinning groups.
In January I will be travelling to Melbourne, Australia in the hope of finding other hoopers and poi fanatics to hangout with. I hear the city has a huge circus community and would love to be involved.
Can anybody tell me the whereabouts of good clubs, circus workshops and nights to go to? Also are there any cheep places for backpackers to stay, close to circus communities?

Besides the regular meets the Spinfest guys said they'd be organising another one in January 2012. They don't have a date yet but going on the last 2 I'd expect it about the 3rd weekend in January.
