good job too they're flying off the virtual shelves!

A couple of balls short of a full cascade... or maybe a few cards short of a deck... we'll see how this all fans out.

Hello you lovely people,

Welcome to our second official announcement.

We wanted to let you know of all the exciting developments happening almost daily. .

Firstly, our fancy dress theme this year is... "By the Seaside" So get thinking of your outfits for Saturday Night.

If you haven't heard, your ticket price includes an extra day (Thursday) an excellent way to start getting into the festival mood. Anyway, on with the show(s!)

Our headline street performer this year is a gentleman called Pete Mathews. He's been on the scene for a long time and mainly performs all over the world as a headline entertainer on cruise ships.

Our Saturday night fire show will be performed by Chimera Circus from Bristol, who will be bringing a brand new 10 person choreographed "Chimera Pirates" show.  More fire shows to be announced soon...

We have LOTS for hoopers this year, including workshops and performances from Sharna Rose, Silvia Pavone, Emma Kerr and Gail O'Brian

New to the itinerary for this year is Slacklining. Jake the Juggler and his crew will be on hand to teach workshops and give freestyle performances throughout the weekend. Also new this year, we have a BMX stunt street entertainer to rock your little socks off!

Bands are being kept under wraps at the moment but will be announced in our next thrilling instalment.

Tickets and further information available from www.southernlightsfestival.co.uk

Thanks for reading and see you on the field

Hi guys,

We just thought we'd give you a quick newsflash to let you know what's going
on at Southern Lights HQ.

We've been working like little monkeys to bring you a dream team line up of
workshop instructors. From G to Silvia Pavone, Sharna Rose to Grant Laurence
and masses more.

All the music is confirmed and we are bringing a little more than in
previous years. We have hand picked acoustic acts to augment all the field
activities as well as a broad mix of genres for the later bands. We will be
including Reggae, Funk, Electronica and Anthemic Pop for you to groove to.

A quick reminder, the Saturday night fancy dress theme is "By The
Seaside..."

Southern Lights commences in 4 weeks time!!!

We are all very excited and can't wait for you to enjoy what we have in store for you. As well as a whole host of surprises, we are pleased to announce the following: Our superstar Juggler this year will be Patrik Elmnert. He will be performing in our Gala show as well as teaching workshops. If you are hoping to come to Southern Lights this year and haven't yet bought your ticket, we urge you to do so as soon as possible. We have not yet sold out but tickets are selling faster than they did last year and we sold out completely. We are in the process of completing the timetable and will post new workshops as they get programmed. Please visit www.southernlightsfestival.co.uk regularly to see what's on.
