There are some stains on my MB contact ball

Would like know is it ok to use alcohol swab to remove the stain?

I'm afraid if I use it, the alcohol might remove that shinny surface of the ball

Anyone can share a proper cleaning method or advise?

i often use hot soapy water or some some alcohol hand sanitiser to clean my stage balls, no harm done smile

even chuck norris can't pin you down if your on fire

i jus used the alcohol swab and also hand sanitiser to get rid of the stain but the stain is still there.. any other method to remove it?

Turpentine maybe? I have no direct experience with contact balls but turps was what I used to get the ink (from the instructions) stains off my HOP led poi.

It depends on what caused the stains - turps is good for oil soluble type stuff, soap and water for water soluble stuff.

Or bleach, but that might damage the ball itself - try that last and only if the ball is unusable as is.
