Someone told me that a while ago someone posted about how to make a really effective ninja mask out of an ordinary shirt. I really need to know how to do this for the ninja sequence in the london juggling video. Does anyone remember how to do it or do they know where the informaion about ninja masks is.
I also need grapling hooks and lots of them.

Ono it's being put to practicle uses, oh god.
Hey grapling hook problem, they're easy enough to make, you just need to be able to weld or have a freind that can, even better. Three rods of steel or sumfin else pretty hard. Rods about 50cm, put them in a bunch, weld the bottom 25cm together and curl the tops back. All it takes is brute force or heavey machinery. Then weld an eye on the bottom and bing..... grapling hook.

Come forth and thou shalt win enternal happiness. but he came fifth so he won an electric toatser.

ninja's traditionally wear black OR white (little known).
BUT, if your totally awesome, like me and many other ninja, you may follow your own colour scheme

Actually no, the main costume of the Ninjas were dark navy blue.

It is when hollywood started featuring Ninjas in their films that they then decided to use black because black was a signal of stealth and "death" to many people.

That makes sense, the dark navy blue, cos it'd blend better with actual night darkness.

Yeah, its not like the supposed ninja uniform only came about due to being used in Kabuki theatre by stage hands that were tacitly assumed to be invisible because they were dressed all in black.... rolleyes rolleyes rolleyes

the supposed ninja uniform

hmmm, thats a point Patrick. It wouldn't make much sense for stealthy covert killers to wear distinctive matching outfits. Even hella badass ones. Did ninja dress like ninja? It would make more sense for them to dress as their natural enemies: Samurai and killer robots.

He was walking around the house the other day singing about being a 'pimped out jedi knight' and asked me how I liked his ninja mask.....

I just shook my head at him and giggled.....my son is 18!!! shrug biggrin

not true, ninjas had a few different colors they wore dpending on seasons. black was a night color. green through the trees, white in the snow, and a reddish color during foliage seasons. twas the purpose of camoflauge, not stealth or death.

I know.. But if they were saying the ninja costume was black, obviously they are refering to the night time. And their night time costume was a dark navy blue, I know this for sure because I've read books and seen movies based on ninjas. In the night time, it hardly is ever black. Its usually a really dark blue or a really dark purple. And I was in no way saying that the ninjas wore the color dark navy blue for stealth or death. Thats how hollywood had their point of view on the black ninja outfit

This is possibly the best arguement I've seen. Ever.

A few hastingity spinners did this once to go and pick up one of our friends from a pub. They all crammed into the car...me and colin couldn't fit in (he was quite disheartend bless him).

Upon their return we were told that they ran into the pub, carried her out and bundled her in the car and were then stopped by the police who said -
"Do you usually kidnap people dressed as ninjas wearing no seatbelts?"

word... well, about the ninja mask making, I made one out of a paintball mask and a t-shirt. It's my fire spinning get up. kind of a mixture between smoke from mortal combat and ninja gaiden.
