yo been thinking about this, specific moves have specific thwacks, for example:
Forward 5 beat = Nad Thwack
Reverse 5 beat = Nose Thwack
Reverse btb = Ankle/Eye Thwack
Reverse Butterfly w/w = Back of the Head Thwack
Staff Shotgun = Knee Thwack
any more for any more?

full isolated buzzsaw (with long poi that shouldn't go into a buzzsaw really) - chin thwack.
4bt windmill - temple thwack.
tangled buzzsaw with lots of beats inside and coming out in the same position as you went in but on the other side - inside of elbow thwack (a bit specific but i used to have a permanent bruise here from learning this move).
any contact juggling done by me - ankle thwack (not just limited to my own).

Oh, forgot .. horizontal helicopter throw & miss = serious nose Thwack .. think i've got a video of me pulling one of those off some where .. my nose still hurts...

waistwrap thingys = lower thigh/side of knee thwack - in the same damn place every time... again.. and again.. and again...

Contact staff screw-up = Ear Thwack!

the staff btb at the wrong angle= between shoulder blades or back of neck Thwack.

My inner cynic tells me that this is a thinly guised worst injuries thread. But everyone know's that Mr Nix? lacks the cunning and/or guile for a stunt like that. So, in the spirit of things:
*Don't recall what move it was but that split ring thing on the end of my electroglo poi - nipple ring removing thwack.

Caught my nipple piercing with a staff once and it is not fun at all. didnt pull it out, just blead and was inflamed for about a month.
Staff in a small room while learning - guitar headstock thwack/snap

crossover tangle = double nad thwack.
I've only ever barfed once after being hit in the extraordinary gentlemen, and crossover, in my first month of poi, was why.
Oddly enough, I felt better.

Mine was a 'have no idea what the hell i was doing', which resulted in less of a thwack, but more of a 'wipe the left side of my face with a flaming 4" wick' I now have uneven eyelashes/eyebrows :S Makes blinking feel really weird
