Guys...I would love to know what you think of the article below..

I am neither scientific or academic so I am always wary of believing what I read because I dont really know how to validate it. I'm hoping you guys can advise me smile

The Atkins diet is one of the diets that is referred to in the beginning of the article, that might back this claim up. There are plenty of studies done on it's effects. It's a diet packed with saturated fat but in people that have done the diet, there was weight loss, a lowering of bad cholesterol, and lower blood pressure.

IMO, sugar is a greater danger to your health. The Native Americans didn't have processed sugar and ate far more meat than we are use to today but pre-Columbian they lived a life span like our own.

Good! Now that saturated fats aren't evil anymore, hopefully lard can become easier to find in the northern U.S. again.
