It was a series of programs about the effects of globalisation on counties in South America. Bassicall, peaple are inpoverished and disempowered and its a story i hear again and again and am just plain tired of it, most of the majoy injustices of the world come down to the policies of the WTO which are supporting OUR intrests and desire for ever cheeper goods and services. It showed tiny children picking coffie in Honduras for 3 dollars per 100lb, and a coffie costs £2.85 in London. It explained that the corperations who make the profit from thease trades cannot be held responsibe because they use an economic middle man and dont enploy the peaple directly, just supply the pressure to get the prices that they want.

he said at the end "I used to be worried about immigration, I was woried that they would take advantage of us and our welfare system. Now the idea of 'them living of us' is a sick joke."

I dont like it, and everything I do/eat or watch contibutes to the situation. We are not the Opressed, but the Opressors.

Anyone who wants a nift "Opressor" T-shirt pm me.

I live in a world of infinite possibilities.

Fair trade are evil too - they attacked us with a noisy, musical bicycle at Glastonbury....

I didn't give my life fighting Hitler to have that kind of thing happen.
