Posted:It's not elitist, there just... Plural of staff is staves.

I think if you are talking about companies then the staff of more than 1 company would be staffs, but with objects I beleive the plural is always staves. *shrug* I could be mistaken.

Posted:Most wizards only use 1 staff though =P, in fact, any mention of "staff" and I immediately think of martial arts and fantasy books.

On the other hand, "Staves" does make me think of wine barrels.

Imaginary conversation, GO!

"Hey there, do you juggle? ... spin poi? ... contact juggle? ... dance? ... do parkour? ... play with sticks? ... diabolo? ... play an instrument?"

See which one doesn't make much sense? I know alot of kids that play with sticks to be fair. ^_^

At this point I'm just being an ass I'm sure lol.

I wouldn't call them staves because a stave is a set of lines for music or the archaic form for staff. You can uses staves if your performing or practicing in the 12th century maybe or REALLY old.

Nothing wrong with playing with staff - except it sounds like your a boss on the verge of a sexual harrassment case laugh3

A couple of balls short of a full cascade... or maybe a few cards short of a deck... we'll see how this all fans out.
