this is how all companies should handle their business, awesome. I was already considering them for my first pair of fire poi (still researching materials) and this is good to hear.

anyway, my randomness from the day for this thread: I now know how to tie bowline knots, just one more way my life has been enhanced thanks to poi. nothing else has kept my leashes from coming undone, but these seem to be holding steady, which makes me very happy.

Their not split rings, I just found out its just a stain;less steel ring. The people there caught that I had ordered split ring pliers and mentioned that there for fire poi with there skinny 2mm chain. There amazing IMO now and I haven't even gotten my package lol.

Haha yeah they're great! Their customer service is like on the same level as HoP which is amazing. Except they take more custom things. I've even asked them to make my cuts as even as possible and they would come out perfectly even.

So last night I got called a ni***r while going for a walk and spinning poi. It was clearly directed towards me as nobody else was around when they drove by. I yelled obscenities back, the whole thing was very confusing.

Got some fancy 6g organic earrings today. Bought one and got the match for free since they had been sitting in the case for a bit as they weren't quite the same but since the are hand carved this is not a problem. Can't wait to get up to that size now!

I also cannot wait to get back to my apt in a week and have my first set of flowlights waiting for me!!!

Depends on where you are tying it, and if you want it to move. A bowline forms a closed, non-slipping loop.

I did some sort of weird square knot, possibly related to bowline on my flowlights. I would probably just go with two half-hitches and a doubled leash if I had to remake them.

Thanks to a certain Unofficial Chairperson of Squirrel Defense League I will be purchasing myself a pair of flowlights in the nearish future and will be making my own sock poi with rice instead of tennis balls tongue2 Rice is softer right?

Variety will happen... perhaps slower than it should, but it will happen tongue2

My shout out for the day is that I am a ZOMBIE today... but a happy one grin

Bwahahahaha!

Rice is definitely better, tennis balls are too light, unless you fill them with water.

THIS THREAD IS STILL HERE!?!!!?

Wow its been ages since I've been on here, anyone around still remember me?

On another note, Tennis balls filled with pennies and lentils are not a good idea (especially for rope darts)!!

So after trying to size up some of my new chain I realized just how reliable this tiny light chain will be. I can't break these things properly with any of my tools. I have used various pliers in the past to cut through chains but these things are way stronger then anything else I've ever had. I have managed to cut a few but the last one I need to just won't break. Awesome.
