I watched Sheryl WuDunn speak via Wordpress last week. Definitely ideas worth spreading, though with everything you hear from others, don't forget about your own opinions. The greatest thing you can do to spread those ideas, is to spread them with your own ideas mixed in. Always good to see things from multiple perspectives smile

I love TED (Even if some of their lectures are a little odd occasionally).

There's a few others that should be on everyone's regular reading (/viewing) list:

https://documentaryheaven.com/
A huge library of documentaries of all sorts on all subjects.

https://ocw.mit.edu/index.htm
2000 video and text courses on science & engineering subjects from MIT.

https://www.badscience.net/
Ben Goldacre's one man campaign for better understanding and more accurate usage of science. The articles linked in the mini-blog are usually mindblowing too. The forum (and its community) is an amazing resource for anyone with an enquiring mind.

Some interesting stuff here too, similar in concept to the TEDtalks.

'We're all mad here. I'm mad, you're mad." [said the Cat.]
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "Or you wouldn't have come here."
- Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures In Wonderland
