I decided to try out Ubuntu, so I'm just using Pitivi. Works well enough. Though it feels weird not running FreeBSD.

Will look into it, since I am using Mint as an OS.

Thanks.

I did things a bad way, though, and now I'm regretting it. I tried out a Wubi install, which boots Ubuntu off a disk image installed in Windows. But now I can't get it to boot back into Windows, so I can't set up a proper partition, and am stuck at a meager 3GB space for the operating system. Unless I want to symlink a bunch of core directories to my second hard drive... which sounds like it's asking for trouble somehow...

Busked for an entire day and only made $5 and that was from 2 people after pulling out fire at night -.- In 90 degree weather as well, also spinning poi wildly (the only way I ever do) in a 3 mile long parade. I dropped dead at 8:30 that night. I just did the fire a little before sunset so I could get out of there because i was about falling asleep standing up.

The only luck is bad luck.

Shut up before I stall my poi up your ass grin

Hey at least busking is legal where you are!

I have under 24 hours until my burn and the filming of my spin-off servitude! Also going to use that nifty fire feature on my staff for the first time. Gonna be a rockin' night tomorrow! grin

Finally editing some old fire footage, but now I don't know who to believe--the spinners I know who say I'm good, or me when I'm totally unimpressed with what I see on screen. *sigh*

I FINALLY DRAGGED THE FLAMING POI ACROSS MY BACK! FULL FLAME TOO grin bounce2 grin

Also Sis11, I know that feeling for sure haha. I usually look at my videos and just see censoredups everywhere. But everyone else says it's like some of the best they've ever seen. But my opinion may be from either that that's just how I am, or that all I had to compare to when I first started for the longest time was Nick Woolsey. I only have 1 video that I actually like to watch myself right now. And the only parts I don't really like are when I almost and then actually run into someone. Both are other fire people, so it's cool laugh3

Also I see some parts where I just thought it was too repetitive, but I don't think anyone else seems to notice or care. I think the biggest critic to anyone is themselves. Or just us I don't know laugh3

haha, I'd say it's always useful to see things you ought to do better in your vids. The moment you look at anything you do and say "That there, is perfect. No-one could do better" you lose a good part of the fun in doing it

And also. Discworld and Carrot ftw!

I'm going to be taking break since the military has seriously censored up my living situation because of laziness, paperwork errors, and catch 22s. Until this is all cleared up and I have some peace of mind after the appeals process I have to work extra hard to just take care of myself and have some contentment. I'm not going to do 18 months of hell, possible more if he were deployed during a 1 year unaccompanied tour in a money pit apartment without a fight.

When things are sorted I'll be back, until then I gotta lick my woulds, focus on getting through this, and be in damage control mode. You guys have fun, I got work to do on many levels for a bit!

I love you guys and just wanted to let you all know that, I'll be back with it once these matters are handled and I have a better idea of what living situation to prepare for. Y'all have successfully warmed the cockles of my soul and know where to find me.
