If there is anything you want to shout from the rooftops but dont have a ladder, then this is for YOU! (plus it is a lot safer than climbing on top of a building)

I've been laying with my dog for about 4 hours. I just moved myself a little and my back immediately turned into a charlie horse I was screaming and ready to pass out in a few seconds before my mom got to me. I have never had that much pain in my entire life >_<

I've had daisy since the summer before second grade and now I'm a senior in high school. I can't imagine life without her. I can tell what she's thinking, and earlier today she was scared, confused, and didn't understand why she was hurting, she felt helpless. She went into my parents' room on her bed where it was dark because of the natural instinct of animals to crawl off and hide to die alone, possibly because if they're that weak the pack might kill them off on their own. I went in there and laid with her to comfort her and she felt much more comfortable and eventually felt relaxed. After a while I moved and my back went all crazy, after my mom rubbed it out she stayed in the room with her and I just needed to talk to someone so I came out of the room and got a much needed drink. This may sound odd, but there was a moment that my dog and I shared that just made me feel happy and got what I wanted to get out to her. She just put her paw on top of me in a position where she was actually hugging me and the look on her face was just what I needed to see. By the time I left she was feeling that she knew it was her time and was just waiting, but I don't want her to wait any of it alone cry

The only luck is bad luck.

I'm really sorry to hear that SoD. My old German shepherd had to be put down a few years ago. I'm glad for the years you got to spend with Daisy, though.

SoD, about a year and a half ago now, I had to have my dog put down we'd had her about 15 years and she had begun to have seizures, the vet put her on some meds, but that was really all they could do, we had to wait and see. Around this time my brother had been diagnosed with cancer, I knew she was growing old, but I asked her to hang in there a little longer... just while everything else that was weighing down on me evened itself out a bit.

Her seizures worsened over the course of a week or so, finally I said enough and told her that it was ok if she had to go, that night she rarely came round from her seizures, by the morning, she didn't at all. We had her put down the next day.

So I understand how you're feeling...

The tumor in her eye just started to grow again and the blood vessels made big lumps on her eye and she was showing symptoms that meant it had gotten to her brain, so it was time. I've never felt so bad in my life, the only thing that rivals it is when my grandpa passed a few years ago. I was eye to eye, nose to nose, and holding her, her when she finally passed. I just wanted her to know I was there for her until the very, very end. I could never forgive myself otherwise. I even made sure she was never alone for a second after I found out the news. Other than my charlie horse episode, I was laying beside her, and the small amount of time I wasn't, I made sure my mom was there.

Argh! I have decided that being a veggiesaurus is no longer enough! The server assured me that there was no milk solids in my order tonight and it turns out there was. cry

I think going all vegan will reduce the risk of dairy poisoning exponentially!

grr! Would it be wrong to bend a fire staff over the head of insensitive twats who monkey with the food you made to last the week to save money?

Or would it be just a waste of a fire staff?

Dear kidds of the cow poo smelling town of Hereford, TX,

You are welcome.

Now that you understand the difference between a running man variation, Melbourne shuffle and a carebear, my work here is complete. Have fun interchanging them and despite the ancient Utah Saints video, the running man was indeed created by an American choreographer in 1986, not a drunken egg at a Cardiff pub in 1989.

Is that what the kids are calling it these days?

'We're all mad here. I'm mad, you're mad." [said the Cat.]
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
