Throw the staff horizontally as it rolls up yer arm. Its a sweet spiral of big fire. I also got some video of me, so i should be having a fire video of me (first one) shortly after coming back from San Fran on the 12th.

I confronted my fear of fireworks last night. Yay! or at least I don't mind a massive display with epic music, but I still don't like the sneaky solitary ones.

I've had a really great couple of days, I went to my favourite hostel *ever* -where I got into spinning- and the owner let me stay for free 'cos he's lovely and recognised me. Then I got adopted by some passing Canadians, who took me halfway round the country and bought me dinner -twice- and I've tracked down the couple who got me into fire spinning last time I was in NZ, I'm staying at their house tonight, and I get to see their new baby! Woo!
Dunedin to Franz Josef via Motueka in 5 days, and I've not paid for transport yet
