In my office theres this little joke a day thing on the wall over the copy machine we read while waiting for photocopies. Today I read something that inspired this topic's random theme.

In how many languages can you say fire?
(please correct some of these if theyre wrong.)

you dont need to say fire, ppl know what you mean when you light it, or when you set fire to your hair, so i get by that way!

... just one lil correction : fire in dutch is "vuur" ("brand" is for burning) ...

but please don´t understand this wrong ... i really couldn´t say it in all these languages ...

this one is on your skills !!!!

fire!! (as in: your house is on fire): brand!

I knew an Estonian beaut called Ugne, and she said that that means fire(flame) as well.

The joke a day thing was actually a reference to asking someone for a light to light a cigarette. Hence using the word fire.
