Posted: Why didn't I try this sooner?! It seems like contact poi is the next logical progression in poi-istory. I recently purchased some stage balls and decided to make a pair of contact poi. My mind has been racing ever since.
It feels like the first time I picked up a pair of poi - I can't put them down.
Any tips on how to manage the whip as you roll the ball around your body? Or does it just become easier with time? Right now I'm working on throwing the poi from my right hand and starting the roll at my left elbow then having it continue all the way to my right elbow and catch the handle with my left. I've made it once.
Soo any advice for a novice contact poist?
