For people making spinning type videos where sync sound isn't a requirement video DSLR's are a pretty attractive option, giving you 1080p video with shallow depth of field for not a huge amount of money... Their low light capabilities might also make for incredible fire videos, but sadly I didn't have time or enough battery when borrowing the camera to test this.
