Anyways, I'm in Texas and it seems to be pretty popular here, I doubt it's the most popular in the US but it seems to be kind of big

I go to this bar every wednesday that is pretty much a congregation of local poi spinners/hippies alike and it gets pretty damn packed

Posted:As for me I am in a town of 19,584 (yes I just looked at our current demographics) and I am the single only person that spins anything here. I have to drive about half an hour to 45 minutes to get to the closest person I could find. Or I could go about that time to the Detroit Fire Guild (circus performers) and there are about 220 fans of it and most are spinners from Michigan and most of the spinners in Michigan should know about that I would think. Because even my Electronic Media teacher knew about them.

Posted:I started going to raves back in '94/'95... I use two phrases, "Rave" and "Sanctioned Rave": the first is your typical rusty warehouse/field rave the second is a "legal" rave, at some sort of venue (usually with security) and something that is pretty easy for people to find out about.

Refuge Crew is right though, they're all just parties.
