Well, seeing as we are starting to take over the

"Offical HOP "I just learnt a new move" thread", I thought we should contain this bit just to jugglerisng and the throwing and dropping of balls, clubs, rings and other miscellaneous juggling props.

Today I mothered learning 441.

I had a few throws of 531 but only 1 catch. I think my 5 is too high.

Note for the mods: I DEMAND on behalf of the jugglers on this site, as has been done with the aforementioned "Poi moves thread", that this one is made a sticky thread.

Otherwise its just favouritism really....

441 wallplane is tricky, I can do it with my right hand throwing wallplane but not my left!

Grrr!

For some reason 4 club singles was REALLY easy today, and I could do well over a minute. I usually have a really ugly pattern.

woot woot fours in wall plane

I started doing that with all four clubs that I was juggling and it aint too bad ya know

Also I done not much cos I was drunk smile

Must be something new, like, errrrm.......
That thing where you keep twiddling one club round your thumb while doing a fountain with the other two. I did some of that smile

Oooooh actually I caught some 5551 with 1 behind your back in 4 clubs, doing the 5's on triples. That was sweet

4 rounds of 5551 in triples out of, and back into four club doubles.

5 rounds of 5551 in triples out of four club doubles, into a face-smack.

I'm far prouder of the latter.

This may not seem like much to you guys out there, but I can now juggle 3 balls!!! YEAH!!! Took me a couple of hours last night to get it, and it's not good enough to be in a show, but I can do it!!

(Coming from someone who picked up 3 balls last xmas then discovered poi and hadn't picked them up since)

It could be worse - we could all have normal jobs.

If nobodies perfect, then I'm nobody.

Oh heck no, I'm not that good! 4 club splits is where two clubs are thrown side by side up on one side, and the other two clubs are thrown in the same manner to the side of the first two clubs when they are coming down, tis a synchronous pattern... Search google image for 4 club splits, the first image is what I mean. smile

... and I managed 16 catches of it last night. smile

not heard it called a 20-20 before.

Today - 21 catches of 5 clubs (new PB!)
Qualified 552 in triples (it seems to flow better in triples)
4 backxx in doubles from 3 clubs back into standard cascade.
5 backxx to failure.

got a new contact staff so not juggled for 2 weeks!! (well i have, but not properly) so not had anything to post...
4 ball 1/2 shower
crap but fun contort tri-plex (4 ball, 4th not doing much, just being in hand)
ditto with 3 balls,, but only 2 multiplex (du-plex?)
4 ball, 1 high, cascade underneath, 3 rotations! at last! - this has taken me ages.
learnt to pass clubs, 4 count, 2 count and sorta doing that crossing double spin in 4 count.
passing clubs is great, not enjoyed juggling this much since april smile smile smile

Ohh, I've been playing around with flats lately. I've managed a very shoddy run of 3c flat shower, box, 441 and 531. It's just so awkward feeling though. 4c flats isn't getting anywhere.

yeah, flat shower is one of my favs, and easier for doing high low too (tho i got it in tripple single shower now)

4 club flats are HARD, got to keep them really straight....

531 with toby walker flats looks beutifull.

4 ball left hand shower is coming on, as is left handed 7441 and the sync version.

started on 4c shwer today, in tripples, got a few catches too, but it got too windy.

ok then... u twisted my arm...

I can get max maybe 20 or so throws of 3-ball cascade before at least one of em hits the ground... and last sunday, no actually saturday, I was working on passing, snatching with someone else (well obviously cos otherwise who am I passing/snatching to/from?), but tried again on the sunday and couldn't even see the balls coming down, let alone catch/snatch em

had a terrible juggle today

everything that i should be able to do blindfold just kept hitting me in the face, i felt really frustrated and couldnt concentrate. I even blamed my props.

In the end i decided to practice something i really couldent do, and ended up doing a run of about 40 4c singles. cool

Flash of 4c flats from 4c singles to a clean finish. Anybody have any tips on 4c flats? I don't mean where to hold the club when making the throw, I'm thinking more along the lines of hand-angle/position so that you can make nice, straight flats in the swoooping fountain pattern.

dunno mate, i got the same problem.

got 4c half shower yesterday, in double/singles. Its sooo much easier than tripple singles!

not so hard but also managed to go from 4c fountain, put on between the legs to go to 3c cc then back to four clubs fountain again, and threw iba a 53 just for good mesure!

chuffed I am!
