I've found the friends list, but there's no way of knowing who, if anyone, I am ignoring.

I'm sure it has worked previously though.

You used to have the user's post replaced by "You cannot view this message as you are ignoring this user" (or something similar).

It doesn't work on quotes though as the quote system is not an "active script" - i.e - it only adds "[ quote]" and "[/quote]" your post and copies in their text into your post.

Posted:Back in the day, when this forum was 10x the size, I suppose it might have worked as you could just skim over ignored posters in quote form and still get the gist of what's going on.

I'm not saying it doesn't physically work just that if there's a thread with three or tour participants on it, you basically have to ignore the whole thread because that ignored participant is a significant percentage of the conversation.

I don't know for sure though, I'm just winging it, I've never used an ignore function on any forum, anywhere save trying it out to see if it works.

I thought you meant the "size" being the number of members of the entire board, rather than the number of active posters in a thread.

Anyway - yeah, you just have to deal with it really smile

Surely if there is a post that you don't like you can just not read it?
