Yeahhhhh, I love these threads... Another year, more goals, more awesomeness...

I was gently surprised by my goals last year, the completion and nature of them. This year, more solid goals:

1) Keep doing this stuff for another year without getting a real job.
2) Do not destroy my fire troupe.
3) Do the choreography and dance things.
4) Do the Hundreds. All of them, on video.
5) Try and do 1000 Matrixies for Children in Need.
6) Try and do something for the Fringe, indoors.
7) More floorwork.
8) Get some silly leg stuff solid.
9) Make a CJ routine
10) Make the post modern staffs.
11) Make the amazing machines routine... Damnit!

That sounds like a good lot of goals. Now I have to go and work on some stuff before 2010 rolls around...

I didn't worry about fishtails for a long time. In fact they were the last base move I learned. I didn't like them at first but now I love them.

I have a lot of stuff I want to practice right now. I think my brain melted and oozed out my ears.

1. Reconcile my ability with my vision.
2. Improve my footwork and movement.
3. Become a better performer.
4. Get a break down fire staff.

1) more groundwork
2) more stylish hand movement
3) learn to do handstands
4) learn one contact move I can do while hanging off a rope
5) work on choreographies and get more gigs
6) make a festival happen this summer (keep an eye out for 'Elements of Flow')
7) steal ideas from dancers

1-yep
2-yep: finally killing the dinosaur hands, chicken wings and dead fish wrists (nb no animals were harmed in the process, other than myself)
3-fail
4-yeah, still need way more aerial practise - get stronger dammit!
5-not doing so well on the choreographies, doing good on the gigs though
6-yep, coming along nicely
7-yes am, stealing ideas from ATS

thinking of adding another:

8-learn all my contact moves with one of my short double staffs
