I'll tell you what it equals: lots of spinning practice. I don't deserve nice poi if I don't make hella progress in the next week. (Fortunately, whether I deserve it or not, I still have four new pair of foxy socks on the way.)

Incidentally, I accept challenges tongue2

Nevermind, then. Looks like it means being stuck indoors while it rains all week. Bollocks...

Of course it would rain on vacation. Bet it's sunny and warm the first day you go back to work too.

Usually the way it works for me too, except this summer when I took a week off and the coolest day was like 112. Spent the entire week at the water park.

It's November in Seattle. I should have expected it no matter how dry our year was up until now. Thankfully my sweetie pointed out that Seattle Center is full of covered walkways, so there is at least one place in the city I can still spin and keep dry.

When it's been raining here I take mine to work and go back in the warehouse. Open space, high ceiling, and I'm getting paid for it lol

(And here's why it's confusing to be born in America with a British father. I've never even seen a squash court in person, but it's just such a part of my cultural collateral information that I don't even think to compare it to racquetball. tongue2 I also type things like "chemist" [instead of "pharmacy"], "flat" [instead of "apartment"], and "bollocks" [which doesn't have a homonym in American English] even though I never actually say them. At least I didn't get the English alcoholism and self-loathing.)

Yup. Though the best part is, unlike "balls", it's used as an interjection grin (Well, I know one person who uses "balls" as an interjection, but she's from Yakima. Yakima people are just weird.)
