Posted:lmao. I tried vegemite for the first time the other day. Tried a sample pack a friend brought back for me. The first bite was rancid, but omfg did that stuff grow on me right quick. So maybe I'm not a fanatic, but I still like it.

Don't mind me, just passing through.

I can't tell the difference between Vegemite and Marmite. I like them both in small amounts, but I'm certainly no big fan.

Now, Nutella, on the other hand, is wonderful stuff.

Posted:I had some of the new vegemite that everyone is freaking out about down under because of the new name. It was interesting. Nutella is still in it for the win, but I really can't even compare them. Vegemite is pungent and strong and funky, nutella is a sweet choco-nutty milky concoction.

Don't mind me, just passing through.

take hot toast, (quickly) put equal amount blobs of butter & marmite on top and gently whisk them together while kind of spreading over the toast. Then eat.

Nutella - take toast (it can be old and stale), spread on nutella then throw the toast nutella side first at the wall. Repeat until your wall is covered in a brown blotchy pattern. It's the latest thing in home decoration I'm told!

I have several large jars of the stuff. I actually like it... a little. And don't tell anyone I admitted to it.

Posted:I actually came back from Vanuatu no longer caring two hoots for Nutella. Only spread I could stomach when I came back was peanut butter for the first few months until I could stomach Vegemite again.

To be honest, I don't know why someone decided to start comparing Nutella and the yeast extracts. They're so different there's no point. If you want to be comparing then you really should have peanut butter and jam and cream cheese etc in the equation.
