Posted:And by "burners" i mean those who plan on attending or have previously attended Burning Man. From what ive gathered (and i may be wrong) the majority of spinners on this site seem to be living out side the continental us, be it UK, Australia etc.
This will be my first year at the burn and i would be very interested in talking to some people with expieriance in that area.

cheers-
seraph

Posted:Check the events/gatherings section...I know there's loads of various burning man threads in there. I'd imagine that most of the people who post in them are also attendees of the event.

Use the search function above...and also make sure to try searching for BM, as I think that is a common abbreviation.

Posted:I would love to give you any details and info that you need! Send me a pm.

I tried to convince Upside down Andy to come from Australia to spin his staff... the more fire dancers, the better!

How can you NOT attend Burning Man - pyromaniac's fantasy land

Posted:Well I'm from the U.S.-Texas to be specific and sadly enough I am so deprived and new to the poi game that I have not yet been to Burning Man. In fact there is little I know about it--wondering if you might be able to fill me in cause I would love to go if it's possible.

I'm fixing a hole where the rain gets in to stop my mind from wandering....

Posted:Visuals help WAY more than just trying to explain it. Plus, I'm all excited, only two months and counting.

Here's a picture of the fire dancers from last year...over 500 performers!
