hole in the top of the ball, a slit in the bottom, cord through the hole, out the slit, tie a knot in the cord, pull it back through the slit and voilá.

you will need:
one PAIR of long strechy socks (prefferably of a good quality)
two regular tennis balls
some kind of reading skill

get one sock turn it inside out
get the other sock, turn that one inside out too

insert one tennis ball in one sock and push to end of sock
do the same for the other tennis ball and the other sock

pick up one sock (with tennis ball inside) and twist sock near tennis ball
then pull sock over tennis ball so that the sock is the right way out and has a tennis ball inside it

repeat this for other sock (with tennis ball inside)

you may tie a knot in the opposite end to make handles
repeat for other sock

insert into oven on gas mark four for three hours

you now have a set of sock poi which (providing you did it right and bought cool socks) will look awesome and are really good to train with

If I were you, I would atatch the swivels on the "handle side" not the "ball side". For me that works quite well. This way you can also do hyperloops. (It may be difficult with tails though.)

Crimson_Circus, yeh I think im going to do a few different types, ive bough enough things to do about 25 pairs >.< lol!

hmm - can't side that. Swivels on the handle side have proven themselves to be ... just on the wrong end. Hyperloops should be fine with swivels on the head-end.

Alternatively consider ball chains

25 pairs? that's either for the learning curve or you're getting competition, Malcolm *rings bell*
