Anyone watch this last night?
I caught most of it but kept dosing off near the end.
Thought alot of it was really interesting.
Basically they polled 11000 people, 1000 in 11 countries; USA, Canada, UK, France, Jordan, Israel, Australia, Brazil, Indonesia, South Korea & Russia

They asked a load of questions ranging from American politics, economics and culture.

Yea, interesting and not too many surprises in there. Wish I could've seen it though. You saw it, what impression did you come away with?

ABC TV tonight, Thursday 19 June at 8:30pm

If we as members of the human race practice meditation, we can transcend our fear, despair, and forgetfulness. Meditation is not an escape. It is the courage to look at reality with mindfulness and concentration. Thich Nhat Hanh

Overall there weren't that many surprises i didn't think.
The overall impression seemed to be that America was arrogant, powerful, not particularly cultured and that Bush is VERY unpopular.

Like I said, not many surprises...

Being that I'm an American I would have to say that this is not far from how I imagined it would be! Other people's opinions of America as well as Americans themselves seem to be right on track how ironic! I was especially interested in the one about the world seeing money and sex when they look at America. Personally I don't mind the sex part but the money thing really aggravates the hell out of me. You could say I strongly disagree with capitalism. Then again I can't think of any other system that would work any better. Socialism is a nice dream but unfortunately humans just don't work that way Some day perhaps we can all learn to look past our differences and establish a world united system that aids in the creation of world peace and unity. Does anybody know if that show aired in America? Cause I didn't see it.
