So, I have learned some new moves, 2beat weaves front and back butterfly split time and regular 3 beat weaves front and back changing from front weave to back weave both sides windmill and fountains chasing the sun and the crossing the poi infront of you and behind you all the ways and worked a bit on the air wrap . WHAT NEXT im looking for somthing that might open up a new thinking of how I move with my poi . Or what did you learn next ? Im really want to learn some more new moves Seems I can fine tune them better when im going from 1 to the other ,and getting how I transition into each other Thanks In advance for your advice smile

There are a couple threads in the tech section regarding this.

Never to early for flowers in my opinion. Also, make sure that the asymmetrical moves are down both ways (eg, Chase the Sun etc...)

I second the flowers idea, as it's the biggest pattern you can make with your poi.

And the buzzsaw, because it's the smallest pattern you can make

Check out Nick Woosey's new video on the fountain, it's brilliant.

Ya. What *is* a clubswinging fountain though?

Oh yea, THAT discussion. I'm a purist and my fountain doesn't have a windmill in it. The windmill version does have a local name, coined by a local instructor, but I can't remember what it is. I just call it a weave->windmill->reverse weave combo.

Found it. Club fountain. I think much harder.

Also, if you want to be pedantic, an isolated buzzsaw is the smallest pattern you can make. (Well, any half-isolation...)

Anyway, for Jason: [Old link]. This one is pretty helpful.

Heisenbergs? That anything similar to my "wild flailing hoping that somehow the poi do not hit me but not actually knowing where they are" move?
