hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to the Church of Poi!
after several years of procrastination, and 3 weeks of gradually making a video, BrettStar and myself present you with our video, the Church of Poi..
filmed at bretts house, *the* Church of Poi in the the Adelaide hills, edited by myself..

seeing Petey as a hood ornament nearly makes up for him not making it over to NZ.
Tho I must say that overall I think the video is kinda lacking in blasphemous poi effigies and rituals.
'Poimunion' the consumption of a piece of sock and some rice in order to become one with the Poi.

i guess theres some g influence in there.. but a large majority of that is my own, or so i believe.. G and i were playing with a lot of plane changes together over the past 6 months.. i could make a remark about doing all my best work naked.. but i wont.

thenks for sharing this video. Ther are some of technic I didn't know yet, and they are very usefull for prepering choreography.
You've got nice place to practice, i wish i hade some more space to training poi spinning.

heh... the original church of poi sign had a capital I in poi but it read as 'CHURCH of POT' because you coculdnt see the bottom of the i when it was at the bottom of the drive due to grass... angry neigbhours and landlord's dad...
what goes around comes around. unless you're into stalls.

i had to come back to melbourne for christmas and all that.. brett stayed in it for about a month or so longer, then had to move out..
staying there was easily one of the highlights of my year
